Business Development or Account Executive (Focus on Client Acquisition) We’re looking for a proven Business Development associate who thrives on finding the right prospects, getting past the noise, and setting up quality meetings with decision‑makers at upper SMB, mid‑market, and low enterprise companies. This is not a waiting‑for‑leads role. It’s about being scrappy, creative, and persistent—using every channel available (phone, email, LinkedIn, events, networking) to open doors and start real conversations . If you can close deals, even better. If not, your mission is to feed the pipeline with highly qualified opportunities and watch the wins stack up. Our clients appreciate our straightforward, collaborative approach — and we're growing fast. What You’ll Do: Identify and research prospects who fit our ICP. Build targeted lead lists from scratch using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Crunchbase, and other tools. Craft personalized outreach that grabs attention and sparks interest. Pick up the phone : make cold calls, leave thoughtful voicemails, and keep the energy high. Run multi‑channel sequences across email, LinkedIn, phone, and text to break through the noise. Book and set up intro meetings for HG’s partners and subject matter experts. Track and report activity in Pipedrive, sharing weekly updates on progress and wins. Look for ways to work smarter , using automation and efficiency where possible. Who You Are: 2–5 years in outbound business development, sales, or lead generation. A hunter at heart : driven by the chase, resilient to rejection, and energized by creating new opportunities. Skilled communicator and writer who can personalize and adapt messaging . Comfortable speaking directly with senior executives . Creative thinker who isn’t afraid to test new approaches. Organized, disciplined, and self‑managed, with a knack for keeping momentum. Familiar with Apollo, Pipedrive, LinkedIn Sales Navigator—or experienced enough with other tools to pick these up quickly. Bonus: Experience in cybersecurity, compliance, or risk sales.
