Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Expand your pharmacy technician career with a growing mail order pharmacy operation in the Scottsdale area. This contract opportunity requires three certified Pharmacy Technicians to support prescription processing and medication fulfillment with accuracy and care. Flexibility in shift scheduling and a reliable commute to Scottsdale are essential to success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter new prescriptions, refills, and patient information accurately into the order management system.
- Count, dispense, and label medications with precision.
- Prepare and organize shipments for mailing, including printing labels, sorting packages, and coordinating with couriers to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain compliance with Arizona Board of Pharmacy policies by upholding a clean and safe pharmacy environment.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Certified Pharmacy Technician license in Arizona with national certification.
- Demonstrated accuracy, adaptability, and strong attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and accountable work ethic.
- Effective multitasking, problem-solving, prioritizing, and time management skills.
- Positive and friendly communication style with excellent verbal and written skills.
- Self-motivated yet able to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Willingness to follow directions and continuously learn.
Schedule:
- Flexible shifts between 8:00 AM–4:30 PM and/or 10:30 AM–7:00 PM, Monday through Friday (no weekends).
This position starts immediately and runs for a 13-week contract with a possibility for transition to permanent based on performance.
