License: Must have a valid state license in hand at submission

Certifications: ARDMS and CCI preferred

Must-Have: Experience working with the adult population is required. Experience with dialysis graft studies is preferred. Cerner experience is required.

Description: The position requires a Vascular Technician to perform ultrasound procedures. The shift is from 07:00 to 17:30, with call requirements overnight and on weekends. Flexibility to work at an offsite location on rotation is necessary. The average daily census is 20-35 procedures per day. First-time applicants are accepted. Availability for 2-3 weekends during the 13-week assignment is required. Travelers may need to float within the hospital or to affiliate locations. Block scheduling may be accommodated but is not guaranteed. Strong patient care and technical skills in vascular testing are essential. Candidates must commit to working 2 out of 3 major holidays. The facility is a Level I trauma center with Magnet designation. Interdisciplinary support includes various health services and teams. The unit provides comprehensive vascular outpatient testing and inpatient services.
