Relationship ExecutiveIf you are customer-focused, enjoy building relationships, and collaborating with a wide spectrum of partners to provide strategic financial advice to businesses, a role as a Relationship Executive might be perfect for you.You will serve as a client-focused, transaction-oriented banker who partners across a broad stakeholder set to deliver strategic financial advice to businesses backed by financial sponsors.As a Relationship Executive, Sponsor Portfolio Banker in Mid-Corporate Commercial Banking, you are responsible for acquiring new clients and for maintaining and expanding a portfolio of sponsor-backed relationships. You will operate both independently and in close collaboration with partners to introduce JPM's full suite of capabilities, with particular emphasis on managing inbound transaction activity from financial sponsors and their portfolio companies. You will also serve as the key link between the Financial Sponsor Group and the commercial coverage banker, ensuring aligned communication and efficient execution of sponsor-related transactions. The role is focused on growing and retaining profitable relationships within the commercial banking target segment, generally comprised of companies with approximately $50 million to $2 billion in annual revenue.Job Responsibilities:Serve as the interface between JPM's Financial Sponsors Group and commercial banking team, managing inbound sponsor transactions such as leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, and add-on acquisitionsServe as a client-focused, transaction-oriented banker who partners across a broad stakeholder set to deliver strategic financial advice to businesses backed by financial sponsors.Play an integral role in the structuring, underwriting, and negotiation of credit facilities and other financial products for sponsor transactionCollaborate with product specialists in treasury, capital markets, and investment banking to deliver comprehensive solutions for portfolio companiesAcquire new clients and maintain and deepen a portfolio of sponsor-backed relationships in the commercial banking target marketDrive investment banking opportunities by acting as primary interface between commercial bankers and the mid-cap investment banking teamRequired Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:Seven plus years of lending or credit support in corporate banking, investment banking or capital marketsKnowledge of debt capital markets including pro rata bank, direct lending/private credit, institutional term loan and high yieldExcellent quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize large amounts of information and help develop innovative client solutionsAbility to work as a team player interacting with a variety of deal members within a financial firmOutstanding written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior client management, investors, and senior members of the firmAbility to work well under pressure, multi-task, and meet time sensitive deadlinesDemonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goalsStrong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnership with senior business and control partnersFINRA Series 79, 63 and Securities Industry Essentials licenses required or must obtain within 180 days of hirePreferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:Sales management, business development skills, proficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationshipsExperience with financial sponsors, direct lending/private credit and capital markets solutionsStrong creative solution and problem-solving abilities, flexible to changing business priorities and ability to multitaskExcellent business judgment, strategic thinking and self-directionAbout UsJPMorganChase, one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world's most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
