Transportation Coordinator / Long-Haul Dispatcher
Location: Springdale, AR
Duration: 3+ Months (Possible Extension)
Shift: Day or Night Shift (Must be flexible for both)
Pay Rate: $21/hour on W2
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Transportation Coordinator / Long-Haul Dispatcher to support fleet operations and transportation logistics. This role provides hands-on experience in dispatch operations, load management, driver coordination, and fleet logistics while working closely with experienced operations leadership.
Required Qualifications- Minimum 6 months of recent Long-Haul Dispatch experience ( required )
- Customer service experience alone in the transportation industry does not qualify
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Email
- Knowledge of DOT regulations
- Experience in fleet operations or transportation logistics

- Assist with daily dispatch operations for fleet trucks
- Coordinate and monitor load assignments to ensure on-time delivery
- Manage unassigned loads and support load planning activities
- Communicate with drivers regarding schedules, routes, and operational updates
- Address driver safety concerns and operational issues occurring outside regular business hours
- Collaborate with load planning, shuttle operations, and regional teams
- Support weekend day and night dispatch operations as needed
- Monitor transportation performance and identify opportunities for operational improvement
- Maintain accurate operational records and communications
