Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days (5x8 Hours, 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM) | Onsite | Acute Care Hospital

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Operating Room setting within an acute care hospital environment
• Utilize Epic for clinical documentation and charting throughout the shift
• Participate in on-call rotation, including one call shift per six-week rotation
• Work one Saturday shift per six-week rotation as part of the weekend requirement
• Float to like units or sister facilities within the state as operationally required
• Commit to working three of five designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered California RN license (must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room experience
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
• LA fire card obtained within the last 30 days
• Willingness and ability to float to sister facilities within the state as needed
• Must disclose any license or background hits at time of submission; no open license hits will be approved

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Epic EMR in a surgical or perioperative setting
• Previous travel nursing experience in an acute care Operating Room environment
