Assistant Accounting Manager

Position Overview We are seeking a tech‑savvy student to join our team as Assistant Accounting Manager. The Assistant Accounting Manager will be responsible for reviewing expense reports, performing cash reconciliation, and performing Accounts Payable functions for our nonprofit clients. From this position, you will be able to learn how nonprofit finances work and collaborate with nonprofits that are making positive changes to the world! and the job listing Expires on July 27, 2026 Responsibilities Review expense reports to ensure compliance with accounting principles, nonprofit regulations, and grant requirements. Prepare cash reconciliation and review reconciling items. Manage day‑to‑day Accounts Payable operations, including entering bills via bill.com and reviewing coding specific to nonprofit standards. Specific Skills Needed Experienced with Excel, including advanced formulas. Have experience in QuickBooks. Able to learn a new system quickly and efficiently. Qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Accounting. Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. #J-18808-Ljbffr
