Job Summary:
The location is in Richmond, Virginia. This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day. The role involves working in a busy interventional cardiac cath lab, performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. The schedule includes day shifts with 10-hour workdays, and on-call responsibilities may include some weekends and weekdays.

Job Details:

• Specialty: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license; no minimum years of experience specified; candidates must have experience working in an interventional cardiac cath lab.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with high-volume labs handling complex cases such as Impella, balloon-pump, peripheral cases, complex percutaneous coronary interventions (PCIs), and device procedures.
• Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Approximately 10-11 staff members per day in the cath lab; patient ratios are 3 staff per room; minimal floating required; on-call some weekends and weekdays; hospital will provide Light blue scrubs; punctuality and professional conduct are essential; must be able to report within 30 minutes of callback.
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
