Registered Nurse - Rehabilitation

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized inpatient rehabilitation nursing care at an 80-bed facility dedicated to acute post-acute rehabilitation. Support patients recovering from illnesses or injuries by delivering comprehensive, personalized nursing services in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' conditions and develop individualized care plans to support rehabilitation goals.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
• Monitor patient progress, document findings, and communicate updates to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate therapies and discharge planning.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment by following infection control and safety procedures.
• Educate patients and family members on post-discharge care and rehab exercises.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with minimum 2 years of experience in rehab or medical-surgical units.
• CPR/BLS certification and relevant clinical skills in rehab procedures.
• Strong assessment, communication, and patient advocacy skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced healthcare setting.
• Experience with Meditech or similar documentation systems preferred.
• Knowledge of specialized equipment such as IV pumps, specialty beds, and mobility lifts.
