Assembly TechnicianOur client, a leading Medical manufacturing company, is looking for an Assembly Technician. This is for an initial duration of four months and is located at San Jose, CA.Duration: Four monthsJob Type: Contract (Candidates must be able to work on W2 without VISA sponsorship) 100% onsite – Day Shift: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm (flexible) Training will start at 9am during the first months of assignment.Requirements:Must have: High School Degree or equivalent. Associate's degree (or equivalent experience) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Technology is a plus.Three to five years of experience (flexible) assembling electromechanical devices and/or electrical componentsExperience in Manufacturing is required, especially in an ESD environmentsDescription:We are searching for a mechanical or electrical technician to perform a wide variety of assembling, testing, and packaging tasks. The candidate will be responsible for completing tasks that enable our team to deliver these solutions to our customers in a timely manner.Responsibilities:Building electrical assemblies, PM kits, sub level assembly, etc.Performs component assembly, solders components, connectors and mechanical assemblies.Assembling and testing complex components and devices consisting of numerous mechanical and electrical components.Perform in-process inspections.Assembling kits using required packaging materialsWorking with engineers for new product implementationAssisting with packaging/skidding items for shipment to customer sitesAssembly the skins of the device before crating process.Crate device for shipping process.Other tasks that are assigned.Compensation: The hourly rate for this position is between $23-25 per hour.
