Job Summary The Account Coordinator assists in the implementation and ongoing coordination of benefit plan offerings, communication, and administration services for client group accounts. Working with the Account Executive Team Leader, the Coordinator supports annual open enrollments and ensures customer satisfaction across multiple communication channels. Responsibilities Enter and manage all case‑related tasks and activities in the company’s CRM system, including case documents. Handle service and eligibility related issues and collaborate with internal service team members for resolution. Work with the internal sales team to fulfill case‑specific proposals or RFP requests for products and services. Assist with the setup of client group case enrollments, gathering necessary information and ensuring successful delivery of the enrollment system for open enrollment. Create and manage client employee benefit communication, including the setup and oversight of the benefit portals, ensuring data accuracy and resource updates. Coordinate activities and tasks related to the annual open enrollment project plan with the Account Executive and client representative(s) to ensure successful implementation. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; minimum 3 years of experience in employee benefit or life/health insurance industry preferred. Must obtain and preserve required licenses/certifications as required. Knowledge of insurance industry concepts, practices and procedures. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently. Ability to work in a fast‑paced team environment as well as independently. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and applicable technology. Strong interpersonal and oral/written communication skills. Flexibility, adaptability, energetic and self‑driven. Experience with benefit enrollment/benefit administration systems is a plus.
