Exciting Primary Care Position

Monroe CBOC, Monroe, LA

Our organization is currently seeking a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible Primary Care Physician for the Monroe VA Clinic in Monroe, LA. This vibrant city is known for its stunning landscapes and rich cultural heritage, where southern hospitality and delicious cuisine abound. Monroe hosts numerous festivals throughout the year, providing ample opportunities for celebration. The Monroe VA Clinic is committed to delivering exceptional medical care to honor and serve America's Veterans.

Key Features of This Role:

Attractive Starting Salary: $215,000 - $230,000
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional weekend on-call duties
Conduct thorough assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and clinical interventions for both scheduled and walk-in patients in an outpatient setting
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve patient, service, and medical center objectives, while promoting the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) model
Differentiate between normal and abnormal findings to establish diagnoses and respond appropriately to emergency health issues
Order and interpret diagnostic tests as necessary, and recommend treatments or referrals
Initiate referrals and consultations to other clinical services as needed
Must be a U.S. Citizen; non-citizen applicants may be considered if no suitable U.S. Citizen is found
Possess a full and unrestricted medical license from any U.S. state
Board certified or eligible in Family Practice
