About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Design for its Commercial Foodservice Design Consulting Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the foodservice design practice, ensuring it operates as a high-performing, scalable, and profitable business unit. This role demands a leader with a strong background in foodservice design, including the establishment and refinement of design standards, workflows, and best practices. The VP of Design will also be accountable for the financial and business performance of the design unit, including revenue, profitability, and client satisfaction. Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Design include owning the vision and performance of the foodservice design operation, partnering with executive leadership on firm-wide strategy, and directly managing a team of Directors of Design. The role requires a leader with a proven track record in managing multi-level teams and complex projects, as well as strong financial, operational, and strategic management capabilities. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of progressive foodservice design experience and a preference for FCSI Professional membership. They must be adept at cross-functional integration, ensuring that the foodservice design practice aligns with the company's broader services and initiatives. The VP of Design will also be responsible for talent development, quality control, and maintaining senior-level client relationships.
