The role involves assisting customers in finding suitable vehicles, guiding them through the sales process, and completing necessary documentation. No prior auto sales experience is required, as CarMax offers paid training and mentorship for new employees. Candidates should have sales and customer service experience, along with strong listening skills and self-motivation. The position offers a competitive wage during training and the first 640 hours, after which commissions become the primary pay structure.
