Sr. Field Clinical Specialist - EP, Southwest Region

Abbott seeks a Senior Field Clinical Specialist for its Electrophysiology business in the Southwest region. The role involves providing technical and clinical support for EP-related clinical research studies, managing clinical territories, and serving as an expert resource for sites, physicians, and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site technical and clinical support for EP-related clinical research procedures and enrollment
- Develop and manage clinical territories including site qualification, training, and relationship building
- Create enrollment strategies, troubleshoot site challenges, and implement tactics to optimize trial outcomes
- Communicate study progress, best practices, and product feedback across Clinical Affairs, Medical Affairs, R&D, and commercial teams
- Serve as scientific interface with healthcare professionals and provide guidance on investigative technologies
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in electrophysiology clinical research or medical device technologies
- Proven ability to manage clinical territories and drive study enrollment
- Strong technical troubleshooting and protocol knowledge in clinical trial execution
- Excellent communication skills with physicians, research staff, and cross-functional teams
- Willingness to travel up to 75% during active clinical trial enrollment periods
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent clinical/technical experience in life sciences
