Why This Role Matters

People usually call a law firm on one of the hardest days of their year. A parent passed away without a will. A visa is about to expire. An injury has put their paycheck on hold. You will be the first person they talk to, and the one who helps them understand whether we can help and what happens next.

You do not need a law degree. You need to be good with people, clear on the phone, and comfortable guiding someone toward a decision. We will teach you the legal side.

What You Will Do

• Respond to people seeking legal help by phone, email, and web form, and turn those conversations into scheduled attorney consultations.
• Follow up with prospective clients who have contacted the firm and build relationships with professional referral sources.
• Listen for the real problem, then connect each person with the right attorney and practice area.
• Explain in plain English what the firm offers, how the process works, and what clients can expect. Our attorneys give the legal advice; you make the path to them simple.
• Work closely with attorneys so every expectation set with a client is accurate.
• Help build presentations and materials that show what sets the firm apart.
• Track every conversation and next step in our client management system.

Practice Areas You Will Support

Family Law and Probate, Estate, & Trust Law

What You Bring

• 4+ years of experience in sales, client intake, or customer service where you were measured on results.
• A track record of turning conversations into commitments.
• Clear, careful writing. Your notes and emails should be easy for an attorney to act on.
• Patience and composure with people who are stressed, confused, or grieving.
• Strong organization and reliable follow through.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a law firm or legal administrative role.
• Familiarity with any of the practice areas above.
• Experience with a CRM or legal practice management software.

• Proven ability in sales or customer service with excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of various practice areas.
• Demonstrated understanding of negotiation techniques and client engagement strategies.
• Experience assisting in a law office environment is a plus.
• Exceptional writing skills with attention to detail for clear documentation and correspondence.
