Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Demonstrated success working as an RN in an operating room environment
• Proven skills in collaboration, problem solving, and critical thinking within the OR
• Familiarity with surgical procedures, aseptic technique, and operating room protocols
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, patient-centered nursing care during surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs to maintain a safe, efficient OR environment
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized care for each patient based on surgical and nursing best practices
• Monitor patient condition throughout the perioperative phase, reporting changes as needed
• Maintain accurate surgical records and comply with all documentation standards
• Ensure all instruments, supplies, and equipment are prepared and accounted for before, during, and after each procedure
• Advocate for patient safety and uphold infection prevention protocols at all times
