Field Engineer – Construction (On-Site)

Location: Onsite – Active Construction Project

Salary: $75,000 – $90,000

We are hiring an experienced Field Engineer to support a large-scale construction project. In this high-impact role, you will act as the key connection between field crews and project engineers , ensuring materials, scheduling, and installation processes stay aligned. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced construction environments and wants hands-on experience managing complex projects.

• Track and manage materials from delivery through installation to maintain workflow efficiency
• Coordinate with field crews to support installation sequencing and resolve constructability issues
• Identify and resolve material discrepancies (missing, damaged, or incorrect items)
• Work with vendors, suppliers, and engineers to secure timely replacements and solutions
• Provide daily and weekly reporting , including material tracking, forecasts, and budget updates
• Ensure compliance with jobsite safety standards and material handling procedures
• Serve as a liaison between on-site teams and Project Engineers to quickly resolve issues

• 1–3 years of experience in field engineering, construction, or project coordination
• Understanding of construction management and project management principles
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities simultaneously
• Experience coordinating jobsite deliveries, vendors, and logistics
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
• Ability to work full-time on-site in an active construction environment

• Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineers, field teams, and leadership

This is a Contract position based out of Colorado Springs, CO.

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $90000.00/hr.
