Hospital Phlebotomist (2nd Shift)

Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for a hospital-based position on the second shift (1:30 AM–10:00 PM, Monday–Friday plus rotating Saturdays) in Mobile, Alabama. The role involves collecting blood specimens, processing patient data, preparing samples for testing, and delivering customer service.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all patient age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
- Enter patient information and process billing data accurately and timely
- Prepare collected specimens for laboratory testing and maintain specimen logs
- Provide customer service and complete administrative duties; travel to additional sites as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
- Minimum 3 months phlebotomy experience or equivalent certification
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation and flexibility for overtime
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
