This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative, high-acuity surgical environment where APPs are integral to patient care and practice at the top of their license.This organization prioritizes a supportive, team-oriented culture that values clinical excellence, professional growth, and high-quality patient outcomes.Position Highlights:Collaborate with a multidisciplinary cardiothoracic surgery team, including physicians and APPsFirst assist in the operating roomPerform inpatient rounding, discharges, and consultationsVein harvesting experience preferredParticipate in a rotating call scheduleCandidate Requirements:Certified Physician Assistant, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, or Nurse Practitioner (non–acute care certified) actively working in an inpatient settingExperience in CT Surgery, CT-ICU, CT-IMCU, or critical care strongly preferredNew graduates may be considered only if they have completed relevant clinical rotations in cardiothoracic surgery or critical care settingsPrior cardiothoracic surgery experience preferredLocation:Opportunities available in Norfolk, VA and Harrisonburg, VAThis role is ideal for an APP seeking a challenging, team-driven cardiothoracic position with strong mentorship and long-term growth potential.
