About the Position

Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Tech to our team to accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• MRI advanced level certification and state licensure
• 2 years' experience as an MRI Tech
• BLS certification
• Successful completion of an accredited Radiography program
• Experience working with adolescent to geriatric patients
• Experience with ICU, ER, stroke, trauma, anesthesia, and outpatient patient populations
• Ability to apply principles of MR safety
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Assignment Details:

• Schedule: 4x10 shifts, 2:30pm - 1:00am
• Shift days: Monday - Thursday, with possible Tuesday - Friday scheduling if needed
• Weekend and holiday rotation required per facility needs
• On-call rotation required every 5th weekend, plus 2 - 3 additional days per 2-week pay period
• Floating may be required per facility needs
• Orientation occurs on day shift, and the traveler must be available the entire week for orientation
