Day shift, 5x8 hours (06:45 AM - 03:15 PM). Job Description We are seeking a qualified Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will have the skills and experience to provide excellent patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. The OR RN will be responsible for preoperative assessments, intraoperative care, and postoperative monitoring of patients while maintaining a sterile environment. Responsibilities Assist with surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Prepare and maintain the operating room for various surgeries. Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in condition. Provide education and support to patients and their families. Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient care. Float to other clinical areas such as day surgery, endoscopy, PACU, and holding areas as needed. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure 2 years of experience as an RN in an operating room setting. Current RN License (WV or Compact License required); pending license accepted for submission. Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS (if required by the unit), must be through the American Heart Association. Experience with surgical procedures and patient care in various specialties.
