Pediatric School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Salem, New Mexico

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Valid SLP licensure with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
• Previous experience working with pediatric and/or K-12 populations
• School-based SLP experience strongly preferred
• Solid communication, organization, and documentation abilities
• Commitment to meeting students where they are and providing individualized intervention
• Enthusiasm for collaborative work with other educators and caregivers

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students identified with speech and language needs
• Conduct evaluations, assessments, and progress monitoring as required by IEPs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals tailored to each student
• Participate in eligibility, IEP, and team meetings alongside school staff and families
• Document services and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to maximize student support in the school environment
