Pediatric School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Rincon, New Mexico

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Valid state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain licensure)
• Prior pediatric and/or school-based experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Passion for helping children develop communication and language abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with students' IEPs
• Conduct screenings and ongoing assessments to monitor student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and family members for comprehensive support
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, assessments, and compliance with school and state guidelines
• Contribute to IEP meetings and provide input regarding student goals and progress
