Clinical Programs Summit’s team is inspired to touch and help change lives through our clinical studies in the field of oncology. Summit has multiple global Phase3 clinical studies, including: HARMONi: Phase3 clinical study to evaluate ivonescimab combined with chemotherapy versus placebo plus chemotherapy in patients with EGFR‑mutated, locally advanced or metastatic non‑squamous NSCLC who were previously treated with a 3rd generation EGFR TKI. HARMONi‑3: Phase3 clinical study to evaluate ivonescimab combined with chemotherapy versus pembrolizumab combined with chemotherapy in patients with first‑line metastatic NSCLC. HARMONi‑7: Phase3 clinical study to evaluate ivonescimab monotherapy versus pembrolizumab monotherapy in patients with first‑line metastatic NSCLC. HARMONi‑GI3: Phase3 clinical study to evaluate ivonescimab in combination with chemotherapy versus bevacizumab plus chemotherapy. Overview Of Role The Senior Manager, SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting will be responsible for the preparation and filing of SEC reporting and disclosures, documenting technical accounting matters and ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations. This role will also lead the company’s Sarbanes‑Oxley compliance program and be involved in complex accounting transactions including accruals, collaboration accounting, and equity accounting. Role And Responsibilities Participate in the preparation of all external financial reporting, including Forms10‑K/10‑Q, earnings releases, proxy statement, and other required SEC filings to ensure accurate and timely reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP. In conjunction with the Director of SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting, manage the company’s external financial reporting process, including the preparation of financial statements, footnotes, Management’s Discussion and Analysis (MD&A), and other required disclosures in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements. Prepare the Statement of Cash Flows, Statement of Shareholder’s equity, Earnings per Share workbooks, and other financial disclosure requirements with such filings. Coordinate the information gathering process across the organization and interact with the company’s external auditors. Review XBRL interactive data files for all Form10‑Q and 10‑K filings in accordance with the SEC filing requirements. Research, document memos, record, and communicate technical accounting matters as they arise and journal entries for complex accounting transactions. Analyze and interpret new accounting standards and SEC regulations, research and provide appropriate accounting guidance related to various business transactions. Research new disclosures and FASB accounting standards updates and work with external auditors on appropriate disclosure requirements. Develop, create, and/or modify the company’s financial accounting policies and procedures to ensure alignment with U.S. GAAP. Administer stock compensation and accounting for share‑based compensation awards, including stock options, RSUs, ESPP, by performing valuation of compensation granted, calculating monthly expense and forecasting future impact to the company and all related stock compensation disclosure requirements. Lead and manage the company’s SOX compliance program, including planning, execution, and ongoing monitoring of internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR). Complete special projects as assigned. Perform all other duties as assigned. Experience, Education, and Specialized Knowledge and Skills Minimum bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA required. Minimum 8 years of work experience, including at least 3 years of Big4 public accounting experience. Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and Sarbanes‑Oxley compliance requirements. Results‑oriented with strong organizational and time‑management skills and ability to multi‑task. Experience with NetSuite, Shareworks, and Workiva preferred. Prior work experience at a biotech company preferred. A team player willing to step in and help with other areas of accounting. Excellent analytical, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Superb analytical, strategic, and critical thinking skills, with impeccable attention to detail and strong prioritization and problem‑solving skills. Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast‑paced environment. Pay Transparency $148,000 - $170,000 USD. The total compensation package for this position may also include bonus, stock, benefits, and/or other applicable variable compensation, based on factors such as skill set, degree of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
