WANTED: Experienced Low Voltage Technician / Custom Installer

We are seeking an experienced Low Voltage Technician / Custom Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and confident working on residential and/or commercial systems with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot low voltage systems.
Work with structured cabling, security, AV, networking, speakers, displays, cameras, and related equipment.
Read and follow job plans, schematics, and system layouts.
Maintain a clean, professional job site and complete work to a high standard.
Communicate clearly with clients, builders, and team members.
Diagnose issues and complete service calls as needed.

Qualifications

Proven experience in low voltage installation and custom integration.
Strong knowledge of wiring, terminations, and troubleshooting.
Experience with AV, networking, security, or automation systems preferred.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Professional appearance and strong customer service skills.

Preferred Experience

Fiber termination and testing.
Speaker and audio wiring.
Camera and access control installation.
TV mounting and display setup.
Rack building, labeling, and cable management.
Familiarity with control systems, network switches, SFPs, and related AV equipment.
