Technical Sales Representative

Recruiting on behalf of our client WarmUp.ai Our client is a fourth-generation, family-owned custom injection molder based in Evansville, Indiana. Privately held and independently operated for decades, the company manufactures precision molded components for appliance, HVAC, automotive and industrial manufacturers. The organization is rebuilding its sales function, and this position represents the first dedicated new business role within that structure. Position overview The Technical Sales Representative is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities across the company's target markets. Core responsibilities include account research, outbound outreach to prospective manufacturing customers, opportunity qualification, and sustained follow-up through extended sales cycles. This is a technical sale. Prospective customers are manufacturers evaluating a contract molding partner, and conversations involve part design, material selection, tooling and production volume. The company's engineering department assumes technical execution once a program is awarded, allowing this role to remain focused on business development. Established infrastructure, including target account lists, call frameworks, dialer and CRM, is in place. Qualifications Required 3+ years of B2B sales experience Experience within manufacturing or industrial markets, either selling into them or working within them Strong verbal communication and telephone presence Demonstrated persistence within long-cycle sales environments Willingness to develop technical product knowledge Located in the Evansville area or open to relocation Compensation and benefits Base salary of $80,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience Year-end bonus tied to company performance 401(k) with a 3% employer contribution provided regardless of employee deferral, plus a 3% match Two to three weeks vacation, negotiable based on experience The organization hires with a long-term orientation. This position is structured to progress into account ownership and, over time, into sales management. Compensation structure This position is fully salaried. The company does not operate a commission structure for any sales role. This reflects long-standing organizational policy rather than a limitation of this position, and candidates accustomed to variable compensation should consider it carefully.
