This leadership role is responsible for assisting with staff supervision, regulatory compliance, quality improvement initiatives, and ensuring residents receive exceptional care in a safe and supportive environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and supervising nursing servicesSupport the recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention of nursing staffAssist with employee coaching, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions as neededServe as a clinical resource and leader for nursing staffAct as the backup to the Director of Nursing when neededConduct daily rounds and monitor resident conditions and care deliveryAssist in developing, implementing, and evaluating nursing policies and proceduresEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local regulationsPromote resident safety, dignity, and quality of lifeServe as a liaison between residents, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary teamParticipate in quality assurance and performance improvement programsConduct and support ongoing staff education and in-service trainingMaintain confidentiality regarding resident and employee informationStay current on regulatory changes and communicate updates appropriatelyQualificationsEducation & ExperienceCurrent, active LPN license in South Carolina in good standingGraduate of an accredited School of Nursing3–5 years of nursing leadership or management experience, preferably in a skilled nursing or long-term care settingStrong knowledge of long-term care regulations, survey readiness, and clinical operationsSkills & CertificationsExperience with PointClickCare (PCC) preferredProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsMust maintain all required continuing education and licensure requirementsMust remain in good standing with the South Carolina Board of NursingStrong leadership, organizational, and communication skillsWhat Makes You a Great FitPassionate about developing and supporting nursing teamsStrong clinical knowledge and problem-solving abilitiesCommitted to delivering exceptional resident-centered careOrganized, dependable, and proactiveSkilled at building positive relationships with residents, families, physicians, and staffApply TodayJoin River Falls Post Acute and become part of a team that values leadership, compassion, and clinical excellence.
