Senior Data Modeler

Position: Senior Data Modeler Location: McLean, VA Duration: 12+ Months We are seeking a Senior Data Modeler to design, develop, and optimize data models that support complex financial systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust data structures, enabling high-quality analytics and data-driven decision-making. This role requires strong expertise in SQL, Snowflake, and modern data modeling techniques, alongside domain knowledge in financial services. What You Ll Do Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise-scale platforms Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable data solutions Develop and optimize SQL queries to support analytics and reporting requirements Implement and manage data structures within Snowflake environments Apply JSON-based data modeling techniques for flexible and modern data architectures What We Re Looking For Proven experience in data modeling within financial services environments Strong proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with Snowflake Experience with JSON data modeling and semi-structured data formats Recent, hands-on MongoDB experience. Understanding of data integration and ETL processes Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders Bonus Points For Experience with multi-family mortgage or housing finance data Familiarity with data governance and data quality frameworks Exposure to cloud-based data platforms beyond Snowflake Experience working in consulting or client-facing environments #J-18808-Ljbffr TechClub Inc
