Software Development Engineer, AWS Certificate Services, AWS Certificate Manager

Do you want to work at the intersection of security, encryption and every internet-connected device in the world? We're looking for Software Development Engineers to build the services that help our customers secure their websites, APIs and devices with digital certificates that just work. Our organization owns everything "certificates" for Amazon. That includes AWS Certificate Manager (ACM) for managing TLS and other X.509 certificates, AWS Private Certificate Authority (PCA) for private certificate issuance, and AWS Signer for code signing. Our services help customers create, manage, and deploy digital certificates based on strong cryptography and public-key infrastructure (PKI) best practices.Certificate lifetimes are getting shorter and Post-Quantum cryptography is coming, while certificates now secure everything from IoT devices to AI agent workloads. Demand for content signing is growing as creators and publishers look for ways to prove their work is original. Customers need certificate management that runs without manual work at any scale. Certificates sit underneath almost every secure connection on the internet, so the systems you build here protect customer traffic across AWS.We want engineers who question the status quo and push leadership and peers to do the right thing for the right reasons. Good ideas come from every level of the team, and we act on them. You'll choose the right technology for the problem and learn AWS's distributed-systems and deployment-safety practices.
