Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required. License: Must have a permanent Ohio license or a compact state license in hand. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required. Must-Have: - Active certifications at the time of submission. - One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for. - No co-worker references will be accepted. Description: This position is for a registered nurse specializing in Med/Surg Telemetry. The nurse will work night shifts consisting of three 12-hour shifts each week. Required experience includes a minimum of 18 months in permanent Med/Surg Telemetry. A permanent Ohio license or compact state license must be held at the time of submission. Active BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory. References must be from assignments worked in the last 12 months. No pending certifications will be accepted. Travelers must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation. Background checks will be reviewed, and an open case will not be accepted. Nurses are exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements, while others must be nicotine-free. Negative drug screens are required within 12 months of the start. Candidates cannot return to the facility for 1 year from the previous end date. All modules completed pre-start and annually may incur billing.
