Position : Business Analyst - Access Management & PPM

Location: Newport, NC, or Remote

Employment Type: 3+ months Contract

About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support enterprise Project & Portfolio Management (PPM) initiatives and access management processes. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in business analysis, requirements gathering, Agile delivery methodologies, and enterprise PPM platforms such as Planview, One Plan, or Clarity . This role will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and platform


support partners to improve processes, manage user access workflows, and drive automation initiatives.


Key Responsibilities


Business Analysis & Requirements Management

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Develop process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and workflow automation.
• Translate business needs into actionable requirements for technical teams.

Agile Delivery & Testing Support

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support Agile delivery processes.
• Manage and maintain requirements and work items using Azure DevOps (ADO) .
• Coordinate system, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Support defect triage and collaborate with technical teams to resolve issues.

Access Management & Process Documentation

• Provide first-level support for application user access requests.
• Ensure timely provisioning and de-provisioning of access in accordance with established controls and procedures.
• Document access management processes and workflows.
• Collaborate with teams to define automation requirements leveraging SailPoint and related access management solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting enterprise applications and project delivery.
• Strong experience supporting the implementation or administration of enterprise PPM platforms such as:
• Planview
• One Plan
• Clarity
• Proven experience creating:
• Business requirements documents
• Process flows
• User stories
• Acceptance criteria
• Functional specifications
• Test scripts
• Experience coordinating testing efforts and managing issue triage.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and project lifecycle methodologies.
• Hands-on experience working in Agile environments .
• Excellent written, verbal, and stakeholder communication skills.
