CVOR Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated CVOR Registered Nurse to join our team. This position is designed for both first-time travelers and experienced professionals. The ideal candidate will have prior scrub experience and a commitment to providing excellent patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule and Hours

• Shift: Day shift - 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)
• Weekend requirements: Yes, Saturdays from 0600 to Monday 0600, once per month
• On-call is required for responding to cardiac emergencies, scrub, and circulator duties

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the CVOR setting
• Assist with surgical procedures as a scrub or circulator
• Respond to emergencies and collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain a safe and organized environment in the OR

Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Prior scrub experience is preferred
• Ability to float to different units as needed based on skill set
• Must have a vehicle for transportation between multiple locations

Additional Information

This position may require floating to multiple locations within the region, including Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, and Saint Vincent. Please note that if assigned to Seaside, there are additional incentives for hours worked in that location.

Parking costs are waived, and the facility provides scrubs in any color. Charting is done through Epic.

Patient Ratios

Expected nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:1 for optimal patient care.

Note

Travelers may be asked to float to other units based on facility needs. Advanced notice will be provided when required to float to additional locations.
