Long Term Care Registered Nurse (LTC RN)
This is a 13-week contract position.
Shift: 4x12 Variable (or 3x12 Variable - traveler's choice). Night shifts (19:00 - 07:30) and Day shifts (07:00 - 19:30) are available, based on facility needs at the time of start date.
The Long Term Care Registered Nurse (LTC RN) plays a vital role in providing quality care to patients in a long-term care facility. This role requires a nurse who is capable of managing a patient load of up to 20 residents, with an emphasis on critical nursing skills for elderly and disabled populations.
- Administer medication and monitor patient vitals.
- Assess and document patient conditions and progress.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement patient care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Manage and assist with daily living activities.
- Active Alaska RN license required.
- Minimum 1 year of long-term care experience.
- Current BLS certification.
- Previous travel nurse experience is required.
