Title
Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

Schedule

Every other weekend required; minimum approximately 6 weekend shifts per contract

Requirements
- Active RN license in California
- 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience (3 years for first-time travelers)
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP
- Experience with high-risk antepartum care preferred
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for patients during labor and delivery, including high-risk cases.
- Manage high-risk antepartum patients, including triage and postpartum care.
- Participate in C-section procedures, including scrubbing, circulating, and recovery.
- Perform neonatal resuscitation, and manage complex deliveries, including multiples and VBACs.
- Administer medications and blood products, and manage complications such as hemorrhage.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Compliance / Notes
- Flu vaccine required during flu season (no exemptions).
- COVID-19 vaccine not required.
- Maximum 2 weeks of returned time off, with no RTO within the first 2 weeks of assignment.
- Supervisor references from within the past 12 months required at submission.
