Job Description
Labor & Delivery / Perinatal RN

Schedule

Weekends: Every other weekend required. Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, NYE, New Year's Day).

Assignment Details

Daily volume: ~200 deliveries/month. Guaranteed hours may be subject to facility call-offs once per two-week pay period.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required (travel experience required).
• Licensure: Compact license must be in hand at submission; pending licenses not accepted.
• Certifications: AWHONN Advanced OR NCC EFM, FHM, ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NRP.
• Experience with intrapartum and antepartum monitoring (high-risk), assisting with vaginal deliveries, circulating/scrubbing for C-sections, and providing postpartum couplet care.
• Familiarity with Epic charting system.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients during antepartum and intrapartum stages.
• Assist in labor and delivery, including C-section procedures.
• Perform sterile vaginal exams and fetal heart monitoring.
• Provide care to newborns during delivery.
• Support in PACU/interoperative environments as needed.
• Provide postpartum couplet care when staffing requires.
