Labor & Delivery RN – Labor & Delivery

Schedule: - 4 weekend shifts per month (Friday or Saturday nights) - Voluntary on-call; may be placed on call if not needed for scheduled shift

Assignment Details: - Orientation: 36 hours

Requirements: - Minimum 3 years of clinical experience - Active California RN license required - Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Advanced - EPIC experience required - External fetal monitoring and C-section circulation skills

Roles & Responsibilities: - Provide direct nursing care to patients in labor and delivery - Monitor fetal and maternal vital signs and respond to any abnormalities - Educate patients and families on maternal and neonatal care - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care - Assist in the management of both low and high-risk deliveries

Compliance / Notes: - COVID-19 vaccine NOT required; Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed) - Advanced EKG exam required prior to starting - RTO must be submitted with submittal; no RTO first two weeks of assignment; max 3 days RTO; 1 holiday RTO may be submitted but is not guaranteed; must work most holidays
