Title
Labor and Delivery Nurse

Schedule
- Start Date: 11/16 (no exceptions)
- Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per month (Friday or Saturday nights)

Assignment Details
- Contract Length: 20 weeks

Requirements
- Active California RN license required
- Minimum 3 years L&D experience required
- EPIC experience required
- Required certifications:
- AHA BLS
- ACLS
- NRP
- AWHONN Advanced

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients in labor and delivery settings, including neonates, adolescents, and adults.
- Monitor fetal heart rate and implement treatment for abnormal patterns.
- Assist in a variety of cases, both low- and high-risk L&D.
- Circulate for cesarean sections as needed.
- Float to Perinatal when required.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 36 hours
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed)
- Tobacco-free environment - arrive free of tobacco odor
- RTO must be included on the submittal; no RTO during the first two weeks of assignment; one holiday RTO may be submitted but approval is not guaranteed; maximum of 3 days RTO.
- Advanced EKG exam required prior to start.
