Labor & Delivery / Postpartum Registered Nurse

Schedule

Guaranteed hours: facility may call off once per two-week pay period. Weekend requirement: every other weekend — 4 shifts per schedule. Float: required between like units and may float to sister facilities nearby. Orientation: 12 hours.

Assignment Details

Seasonal rate effective 10/4; rates return to standard on 2/27. Travelers starting 9/21 or 9/28 receive standard rate until 10/4. Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, NYE, New Year's Day).

Requirements

2 years of nursing experience required.
Compact license required at time of submission; pending licenses not accepted.
Certifications: ACLS, BLS/BCLS, NRP.
Must submit all RTO upfront; requests over 7 days may delay offer approval.
References: 2 required covering 1 year within the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

Provide care during antepartum, labor & delivery, and postpartum stages.
Triage obstetrical patients and perform external fetal monitoring (EFM).
Assist with high-risk deliveries and circulate/recover C-sections.
Provide newborn care at delivery and manage postpartum couplet care.
Administer medication, manage central lines, and implement isolation precautions/PPE.

Facility does not accept Nursys or background hits. Parking is free. Do not contact the facility directly unless arranged by Account Manager/Recruiter.
