Associate - Inventory II

Job Location 35961 State Highway 54 TX - Launch Site One Van Horn, TX, 79855, US. Shift/Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7 AM - 5 PM CST. Responsibilities Continuous improvement — evaluate, monitor, and elevate a roadblock identified while working in a role that can cause a defect downstream. Support a root cause analysis and provide details with problem‑solving skills. Use equipment to support the role; possess fundamental knowledge and skills in operating heavy equipment, primarily PIT equipment/forklifts, and understand operational mechanics, safety procedures, and maintenance practices. Operate any equipment needed to move heavy parts/material throughout the facilities, including electronic pallet jacks (EPJs), forklifts, reach‑trucks, and turret‑trucks. Receive and unload shipments delivered by carriers. Inspect shipments; visually examine packages arriving at the Fulfillment Center and determine acceptability according to a standard operating procedure. Conduct quality‑control checks; review requirements for each part number and process accordingly to the standard operating procedure. Document receipts; use tools and equipment to systematically upload, store, and follow standard operating procedures to close out a receipt or work order. Enter data; navigate and select fields within an inventory management tool to input data from the physical delivery of a part. Package items; identify the type of packaging needed for parts and properly wrap/store parts at any stage of the Fulfillment/Manufacturing workflow. Sort and stage packages/boxes/crates or any storage container while ensuring they are identified and secured to prevent loss within the workflow. Label and mark parts; ensure all parts are appropriately labeled with identifiers outlined in the standard operating procedure. Assign and audit storage; store parts according to the standard operating procedure, using good judgment, and audit as required. Qualifications 2+ years of Fulfillment Center Operations experience, including an industry with receiving and inventory functions. Strict adherence to safety protocols and guidelines, wearing appropriate PPE, following safe operating procedures, and participating in regular safety training sessions. Ability to lift 50 lbs. World‑class quality attitude, attention to detail, and dedication. Communication skills within a highly technical environment. Mathematical skills. Analytical skills to define problems, collect relevant data, establish facts, and draw conclusions. Ability to derive inventory requirements from Bills of Material. Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion. Ability to operate forklifts. Desired experience in Warehouse/Receiving/Inventory in the aerospace or automotive industry. Experience with electronic pallet jacks.
