Job Description Job Description Overview : Sterling Engineering is partnering with a leading metal manufacturing company to hire a Production Master Scheduler. This position plays a critical role in ensuring efficient production planning, maximizing manufacturing resources, and supporting on time customer delivery. Location : Carbondale, PA 18407 Schedule : Monday-Friday | 1st Shift Compensation : $65,000-$70,000 Base + Monthly Performance Bonus Hire Type : Direct Hire Benefits : A comprehensive benefits package is offered, including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, paid holidays, and a 401(k) plan. Responsibilities Develop and maintain production schedules within the Epicor ERP system. Manage production capacity and resource planning to support customer demand. Monitor ERP data accuracy and make updates to maintain scheduling integrity. Collaborate with production, operations, sales, and other departments to optimize workflow. Communicate production schedules, order priorities, and delivery timelines. Coordinate expedited orders when necessary to meet customer expectations. Track production lead times and on time delivery performance. Identify production bottlenecks and recommend scheduling improvements. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency. Analyze production data and scheduling performance to improve operational results. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 3 years of production scheduling experience in a high mix, high volume manufacturing environment. Experience using ERP software for production scheduling; Epicor experience is highly preferred. Strong Microsoft Excel skills; Power BI experience is a plus. Ability to analyze production data and make informed scheduling decisions. Manufacturing or metal fabrication experience preferred. Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
