Human Resources (HR) Coordinator

Hilton Mystic is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources (HR) Coordinator to join our team in Mystic, CT. This role is essential in supporting the HR department with a variety of administrative and coordination tasks to ensure smooth HR operations and foster a positive workplace environment. Responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment efforts including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
• Maintain and update employee records in HR databases and files.
• Support the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and documentation.
• Coordinate employee training sessions and track attendance.
• Provide administrative support for payroll and benefits processing.
• Respond to employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
• Assist in organizing company events and employee engagement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field is a plus.
• Previous experience in an HR coordination or administrative role preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HR information systems.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
