About the Role: Position: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) . Job Type: Full-time . Location: 503 Covil Ave., Suite 102 Wilmington, NC 28403 . Location Type: Center-Based . Pay Range: $37,440 - $52,000 (hourly pay, not salary) . As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) , you will play a crucial role in delivering high‑quality, compassionate care to our clients. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with autism. You will implement individualized treatment plans supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and engage with families to support their understanding and involvement in the therapy process. Responsibilities Implement treatment plans under the direction of a BCBA Collect data on client behaviors and progress Engage clients in therapeutic activities to promote learning and development Communicate with families about their child's progress and strategies Assist in developing educational materials and resources Participate in team meetings and training sessions Adhere to ethical guidelines and standards of behavior analysis Qualifications Active RBT certification - OR - certificate of completion of a 40‑hour RBT training course recognized and accepted by the BACB - OR - work experience as a BT in the field of ABA High school diploma or GED 1+ year experience working with children or individuals with special needs Ability to obtain CPR certification before your employment start date Ability to pass a criminal background checkExperience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities Strong interpersonal and communication skills Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards in behavior analysis Ability to work collaboratively as part of a treatment team Desire for ongoing professional development and training Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment Physical ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs and sit/stand/squat throughout the day Comfortable working fully on‑site in a center‑based setting Benefits Competitive, equitable pay based on experience working in the field of ABA, related fields, and education $1,000 bonus Paid initial and ongoing training Employee Rewards Program - earn reward points for being awesome and spend them like real cash RBT CEU requirements - stay compliant with the upcoming BACB CEU requirements at no cost to you as part of your employment In‑person, center‑based supervision All session supplies provided - no out‑of‑pocket costs, and we are happy to order client‑specific tools as needed Tuition discounts available - take advantage of our university partnerships with Northeastern, Capella, Ball State, Purdue Global, and more Access to our Student Analyst Program - offering mentorship, clinical development, and potential opportunities to accrue supervised fieldwork hours toward behavior analyst certification.
