Position Overview

SteadfastContractors Alliance is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and dependableBilling Specialist to join our Accounts Receivable (AR) team. This positionplays an important role in maintaining accurate billing records, supportingtimely customer invoicing, and ensuring efficient billing operations acrossmultiple company divisions.

The ideal candidate is proactive, comfortable working in a fast-pacedenvironment, and committed to accuracy, communication, and teamwork. We arelooking for someone who takes ownership of their responsibilities whilecontributing to the overall success of the AR department.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and process customerinvoices accurately and in a timely manner.

Verify billing information, supportingdocumentation, pricing, and applicable customer requirements.

Submit invoices through customerportals and other designated billing platforms.

Maintain organized and accuratebilling records within company systems.

Communicate with internal departmentsto resolve billing discrepancies and obtain missing information.

Monitor billing progress and assistwith following up on outstanding or incomplete invoices.

Assist with account research, invoicecorrections, and billing-related inquiries.

Support accounts receivable reporting,reconciliation, and collection efforts as needed.

Follow established procedures,deadlines, and internal controls.

Collaborate with fellow AR teammembers to improve processes, share knowledge, and maintain consistentdepartment standards.

Assist with additional billing andadministrative responsibilities as business needs require.

Qualifications

Previous experience in billing,accounts receivable, accounting support, or a related administrative rolepreferred.

Strong attention to detail andcommitment to accuracy.

Proficiency with computers,spreadsheets, and business software.

Experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite,Buildertrend, and builder billing portals is preferred but not required.

Ability to organize multiple tasks,prioritize deadlines, and manage time effectively.

Strong written and verbalcommunication skills.

Problem-solving skills and the abilityto research and resolve discrepancies.

Ability to work independently whilecontributing positively to a collaborative team environment.

Willingness to learn company-specificsystems, procedures, and customer billing requirements.
