Position Overview

Steadfast Contractors Alliance is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and dependable Billing Specialist to join our Accounts Receivable (AR) team. This position plays an important role in maintaining accurate billing records, supporting timely customer invoicing, and ensuring efficient billing operations across multiple company divisions.

The ideal candidate is proactive, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and committed to accuracy, communication, and teamwork. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their responsibilities while contributing to the overall success of the AR department.

Key Responsibilities ****

Prepare, review, and process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.

Verify billing information, supporting documentation, pricing, and applicable customer requirements.

Submit invoices through customer portals and other designated billing platforms.

Maintain organized and accurate billing records within company systems.

Communicate with internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies and obtain missing information.

Monitor billing progress and assist with following up on outstanding or incomplete invoices.

Assist with account research, invoice corrections, and billing-related inquiries.

Support accounts receivable reporting, reconciliation, and collection efforts as needed.

Follow established procedures, deadlines, and internal controls.

Collaborate with fellow AR team members to improve processes, share knowledge, and maintain consistent department standards.

Assist with additional billing and administrative responsibilities as business needs require.

Qualifications

Previous experience in billing, accounts receivable, accounting support, or a related administrative role preferred.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Proficiency with computers, spreadsheets, and business software.

Experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, Buildertrend, and builder billing portals is preferred but not required.

Ability to organize multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and manage time effectively.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Problem-solving skills and the ability to research and resolve discrepancies.

Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.

Willingness to learn company-specific systems, procedures, and customer billing requirements.
