Electrical Engineer

The Palmer Group

The Electrical Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components to support operational and project goals. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize system performance, and ensure compliance with safety and industry standards. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience with electrical design tools, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Work Model:

On-Site

What You Will Do:

Collaborate closely with suppliers to source components, refine specifications, and ensure seamless system integration
Develop and maintain accurate bills of materials (BOMs) to support production and engineering changes
Design and release electrical components and wiring harnesses aligned with project requirements
Support prototype and production builds by identifying issues and performing effective troubleshooting
Establish and refine electrical system requirements based on performance, safety, and project goals

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline
3+ years of experience with vehicle or mobile equipment electrical systems
Proficiency with wiring design, schematics, and electrical components
Familiarity with CAD tools for electrical or harness design
Understanding of hardware/software integration and system interactions
Experience with testing (e.g., SIL/HIL) and exposure to off-highway or agricultural equipment
