Job Summary

We are looking for a dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented Pizza Cook to join our kitchen staff and help us make America's Best Pizzas!

As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking pizzas and other menu items according to company standards. You will help ensure every order is prepared accurately, efficiently, and with consistent quality while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in preparing quality food, and works well as part of a team.

Pizza Cook Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare pizzas and customer orders according to company recipes and standards.
• Prepare and portion ingredients needed for daily food preparation.
• Operate ovens, cooking equipment, and other kitchen equipment safely and properly.
• Monitor food while cooking to ensure proper quality, temperature, and presentation.
• Ensure customer orders are prepared accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with kitchen preparation and stocking as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary cooking station throughout the shift.
• Clean and sanitize cooking equipment, work surfaces, utensils, and other kitchen areas regularly.
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Receive in-the-moment coaching and hands-on training to improve skills and performance.
• Assist management and other team members with in-store tasks and daily restaurant operations.
• Help maintain proper inventory and communicate when ingredients or supplies need to be replenished.
• Work efficiently as part of a team during busy periods.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and food safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience as a Pizza Cook or in a similar kitchen role is preferred, but training is available for the right attitude.
• Comfort working with kitchen equipment and learning Stoner's Pizza Joint systems like KDS/KPS and POS.
• Knowledge of food safety and basic hygiene practices to help maintain high food-handling standards.
• Strong time-management and teamwork skills to keep orders accurate and moving smoothly during busy rushes.
• Flexibility to work full-time or part-time shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing for extended periods and lifting or carrying supplies as needed.
• Willingness to learn and follow Stoner's Pizza Joint recipes, prep procedures, and quality standards.
