Senior Accountant With Tax Expertise

A growing accounting firm is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with strong tax expertise to join its team. This role is ideal for an accomplished accounting professional who can manage a variety of tax and accounting engagements while building strong client relationships.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns, along with a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse client base in a collaborative and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns
• Assist clients with tax planning and compliance strategies
• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules
• Research tax issues and ensure compliance with current tax laws
• Communicate with clients regarding tax and accounting matters
• Review financial records and maintain accurate documentation
• Assist with tax notices and other regulatory matters as needed
• Stay current on tax legislation and accounting standards

Qualifications:

• Strong tax preparation experience required
• Senior level accounting experience required
• Experience with individual and business tax returns
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
• CPA designation preferred but not required
