About Mothers Against Media Addiction MAMA’s mission is to end childhood screen addiction, support families in raising healthy kids, and prevent runaway tech. We do this by educating parents, getting smartphones out of schools, and ensuring technology products have basic safeguards like other consumer products. Our goal is to live in a world where real-life experiences and interactions remain at the heart of a healthy childhood. Since launching in 2024, MAMA has rapidly grown to 551 chapters nationwide and contributed to landmark child digital safety legislation at the state‑level. MAMA has built a powerful coalition calling for tech accountability and child safety. This is a movement on the rise and we’re looking for a Director of Development who thrives on building and who believes in supercharging movements by securing the resources and partnerships that make bold change possible. MAMA is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Development to lead and grow our fundraising program. This individual will set MAMA's fundraising strategy and oversee major gifts and institutional giving, building the relationships and resources needed to support our continued growth and impact. The successful candidate will be an accomplished nonprofit fundraiser with a demonstrated track record of cultivating, soliciting, and securing six‑and seven‑figure gifts from foundations, institutions, and individual donors. They will build systems to strengthen pipeline development, stewardship, and long‑term revenue sustainability. This key position is a member of MAMA’s senior leadership team, reports to the Executive Director, and operates under the guidance of the Sr. Executive Advisor for problem‑solving and operational workflows. The ideal candidate is someone who is equally comfortable developing strategy, writing excellent proposals, building relationships, and doing the hands‑on work required to close significant gifts. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast‑growing movement. The Opportunity MAMA is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Development to lead and grow our fundraising program.
