This full-time contract position offers an exciting opportunity to support PreK-5th grade students as a Special Education Teacher. Drawing on your expertise, you will collaborate with dedicated educators and families to foster a welcoming and supportive environment for all learners. Bilingual Spanish speakers are especially encouraged to apply, as your skills can further enhance communication and understanding within our diverse student population.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teaching certification
- Experience working with PreK-5th grade students in diverse classroom settings
- Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organization skills
- Bilingual (Spanish) ability preferred but not required
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deliver, and adapt instructional activities to meet the needs of students with varying abilities
- Craft and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Collect and analyze student data to track growth and inform instructional strategies
- Communicate regularly with families, advocating for student needs and progress
- Participate in school meetings, professional development, and ongoing training
- Cultivate positive, empathetic relationships with students to support their academic and social-emotional growth

Compensation for this position ranges from $28.05 to $48.05. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
